Dr. Tyler Cook is an educator, author, and speaker dedicated to cultivating healthy, high-impact leaders, regardless of their title or role. He currently serves as Principal of Klein Elementary School in the Harbor Creek School District, Executive Director of Lake Erie Church, and Adjunct Professor at PennWest University.

He is the co-author of Building Authenticity: A Blueprint for the Leader Inside You and author of his newest book, The Growth-Minded Leader: How the Mountains You’re Facing Are the Path to Your Potential.

Tyler lives in Waterford with his wife, Stacey, and their four children—Elijah, Judah, Noah, and Anna.

This session invites leaders to explore the Enneagram as a powerful tool for self-discovery and spiritual growth. By understanding your core personality type, you’ll uncover how your natural tendencies shape your leadership style, communication, and decision-making. In her relatable teaching style, Kristin will help you recognize your strengths and blind spots, enabling you to lead with greater self-awareness, empathy, and dependance on God. Whether you’re seeking to improve team dynamics or deepen your own leadership journey, this session points to who God created you to be—and who He is calling you to become as a leader.

Speaker Bio

Kristin Hesch developed an interest in youth and adolescents while pursuing her Psychology degree at Penn State Behrend, including an internship with The Ophelia Project. She obtained her master’s degree in organizational leadership from Mercyhurst University, with a research thesis focused on the roles of empathy and forgiveness in relational aggression. Kristin has spent the past 20 years mentoring middle and high school students in the Erie community through training, speaking, and facilitating networks of connection.

Scott is in his 7th year on staff at Grace Church and currently serves as the Executive Pastor of Ministries. Prior to coming on staff at Grace, Scott spent 18 years in higher education working both clinically as a sports medicine specialist and as an assistant professor. He completed his doctorate in Higher Ed Leadership in 2016 with a research focus in cross-cultural mentoring and has had the opportunity to publish in multiple journals related to this topic. All of this, however, pales in comparison to his most cherished roles as husband to his wife Heather and father to his 2 teenage daughters, Maelyn and Maya. One last thing you need to know about Scott, he is an overachiever by nature and has struggled with setting limits for most of his life. You’re in good company.

For more than two decades, she has leveraged her expertise in strategy, marketing, and project management in her work with cause-based organizations, driving regional and national initiatives in social wellness, domestic violence prevention, religiosity, and behavioral health. Today, she serves as the Chief Strategic Growth Officer at LECOM Behavioral Health. She loves Jesus, coffee, a good strategy, and ancestry.com. She holds both a master's and a doctoral degree in Organizational Learning and Leadership.

Doug Bierer is an entrepreneur and follower of Christ, who is seeking to build and lead businesses that bring honor and joy to God. Doug Bierer and his wife Andrea are the owners of DBC Remodeling & Construction, LLC., an Erie-based remodeling company with 45 team members, and GapCap USA, a construction product manufacturing startup. Doug and Andrea have been married for 22 years. Their daughter, Danika, is currently studying at the US Merchant Marine Academy, and their son John is a junior at McDowell HS.
