Upcoming Session
In a world that glorifies boundless choice and unrestrained ambition, we often overlook the quiet power of limits. This presentation explores how intentional boundaries—on time, attention, and habits—don’t confine us, but rather unlock focus, clarity, and purpose as leaders. Discover how setting limits can fuel creativity, strengthen relationships, and lead to more effective, authentic leadership. Sometimes, the key to true freedom isn’t doing more—but stopping at the edge of enough, on purpose.
Speaker Bio
Scott is in his 7th year on staff at Grace Church and currently serves as the Executive Pastor of Ministries. Prior to coming on staff at Grace, Scott spent 18 years in higher education working both clinically as a sports medicine specialist and as an assistant professor. He completed his doctorate in Higher Ed Leadership in 2016 with a research focus in cross-cultural mentoring and has had the opportunity to publish in multiple journals related to this topic. All of this, however, pales in comparison to his most cherished roles as husband to his wife Heather and father to his 2 teenage daughters, Maelyn and Maya. One last thing you need to know about Scott, he is an overachiever by nature and has struggled with setting limits for most of his life. You’re in good company.
